Built for our own kids. Built for yours, too.
Ai² isn't just a school. It's a family mission.
Jessica and Matthew Gile, alongside their four sons, are the vision and heart behind Ai²: Academy of Inspiration & Innovation—a school designed for their children, and for every family seeking something deeper than grades and worksheets.
What began in their living room—dreamed up around dinner tables and shaped by years of experience—is now becoming a community where young people grow with purpose, agency, and impact.
From California roots to Arizona innovation
The Gile family first launched Acton Academy Redding in Northern California in 2019, built on the belief that when students are trusted with real responsibility, they don't just learn, they lead.
That school is still thriving today, with learners from preschool through high school actively designing businesses, leading exhibitions, and finding their callings.
Now, they're building something new. Something even more focused. Ai² is the next chapter—a school born not just from innovation, but from conviction.

Why start with middle and high school?
Too often, innovation stops at elementary grades. And yet, it's in the teenage years that young people most need connection, challenge, and vision. Jessica and Matthew are doubling down on this age group—not because it's easy, but because it's essential.
Their oldest sons, Thomas and Josef, are active co-creators of the school, helping shape experiences that are alive, relevant, and relational. This isn't education from the top down—it's a community built from the inside out.
